Florence in the morning is magical. It sounds like an exaggeration but there is no other word for it. The incredible view from Piazzale Michelangiolo was like looking across a kingdom from a fairytale. This was taken in the middle of winter so despite the city looking like it is basking in warm sunlight, it was actually freezing. Even in the middle of winter it still managed to glow in delicious shades of apricot, peach, caramel and biscuit brown.

I can’t wait to visit Florence some day! I’ve still never been to Italy. Hopefully while I’m living in this part of the world, I’ll make it over there. Love your photos!
Florence is my favorite city. I went to the beautiful city three times when I was station in Germany in 1977-1980. The photo is beautiful.
