Wilsons Promontory, or Wilsons Prom as its known, is the largest coastal wildlife area in Victoria & one of the best-loved national parks in the state. Book well in advance to secure a camping spot inside the park, or do as we did and make a last minute trip by renting an AirBnb near the entrance to the park. Hike Mt Oberon, visit famous Squeaky Beach, spot Australian wildlife & spend some time exploring the surrounding Gippsland region.

I acknowledge the Gunaikurnai, Bunurong and Boon Wurrung people as the First Nations owners of the lands now recognised as Wilsons Promontory.
