The Gold Coast is located in southeast Queensland, just an hour’s drive from the state capital, Brisbane. To get to there, international travellers can fly to Brisbane Airport & drive or train (1 hr), or fly to Sydney international airport and then get a connection to Coolangatta Airport, which is on the coast and only a 20-30 minute drive from the heart of Surfers Paradise.
