The Whitsundays is one of Australia’s most idyllic travel destinations. The Whitsundays region in northern Queensland is an archipelago of 74 islands. Most of the islands are uninhabited, but you can stay on Hamilton Island, Hayman Island and Daydream Island to name a few, as well as visit the most beautiful beach in Australia, Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island.
I acknowledge the Ngaro people as the First Nations owners of the lands now recognised as The Whitsundays. I pay respect to their Elders, lores, customs and creation spirits. I recognise that these lands have always been places of great natural beauty, culture and community.
