Beach huts in Dromana, Mornington Peninsula

Mornington Peninsula

Planning a trip to the Mornington Peninsula? Start with my Mornington Peninsula Travel Guide .

Fringed with beaches and filled with wineries, the Mornington Peninsula is one of the best getaway destinations in Victoria – and only an 90 minutes’ drive from Melbourne. The peninsula is dotted with wineries, beaches, cute beach towns and national parks, so it has something for pretty much everyone.

I acknowledge the Bunurong people as the First Nations owners of the lands now recognised as the Mornington Peninsula. I pay respect to their Elders, lores, customs and creation spirits. I recognise that these lands have always been places of great natural beauty, culture and community.
