France

France is one of the most romantic, and most romanticised, countries in the world. From Paris to Provence, from the sparkling waters of the Cote D’Azur (French Riviera), to the grand chateaux and rolling hills of Burgundy and Bordeaux in French wine country, there is something magical waiting in every corner of France. France is one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe, and for good reason. Visitors will be tempted to stick to Paris and Provence, but you’ll be rewarded for exploring farther afield. I’ve visited France multiple times, and will keep returning to this beautiful country – easily one of my favourite travel destinations in the world. I’ve spent months in Paris across five visits, visited Provence twice, and on my most recent trip was spellbound by Alsace and Burgundy, two new-to-me regions that I can’t stop talking about!
