It was this bridge that incited an urge to go to Prague. Well, that and The Illusionist. It is just as beautiful in person and is flanked by my favourite marble people in the world. Sadly, it’s rarely empty enough to get a photo without the crowds, like the photo I saw that made me want to come here in the first place.
Hello! I’m an Australian travel blogger, living in Melbourne, Australia. I grew up in Brisbane, studied in Paris, lived & worked in New York City and now live in Melbourne, Australia.
I love sharing specific and useful recommendations, itineraries and guides for the most beautiful things to see, do, experience & eat wherever I go.
My favourite travel destinations are Australia, New York City & surrounds, France, Greece & Japan, but I’m always excited to explore somewhere new!

I’ve enjoyed your bridge posts. I snapped a few Ponte Vecchio photos as well, and it’s very difficult to do it justice. And nerd that I am, I also have a strange attraction to bridges, and have written a few posts as well (including the Sydney Harbor Bridge).
Nice to hear from you! There is definitely something cool ( or there can be something cool when they’re done with a bit of creativity) about bridges. I’ll be sure to check them out!
Have been to all 3 bridges last 2 weeks and this is still my favourite. We were there about 0830 and it was pretty clear and a beautiful day. We did Prague before Vienna – as you probably already know:)
